A Worcester allotment project designed to promote wellbeing, confidence and inclusion is celebrating its progress with a community event next month.
The Maggs Allotment Community Event will take place on Tuesday October 27 from 1pm at Hillborough Allotments, Stanley Road, Worcester.
The project has been created to provide a positive, inclusive outdoor space for people supported by Maggs, with a focus on wellbeing, community, confidence, and participation.
A relaxed BBQ is planned gathering together service users, staff, volunteers, and project partners with accessible activities, food, and some Halloween-themed fun.
Service users have been actively participating in shaping the day, including designing promotional materials, suggesting activities, and helping to name the allotment.
