Firefighters spotted on main road overnight – here’s why

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a main road near the city centre in the early hours of the morning.

The crew, from Worcester, attended a home on Rainbow Hill today (April 6) following reports of a fire alarm.

The fire alarm was faulty and there was no fire.

A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “One crew from Worcester was called at 12.20am on April 6 to a fire alarm going off on Rainbow Hill.

“Upon arrival, there was no fire, and the fire alarm was found to be faulty. The crew left the scene at 1am.”
