Prices of diesel across Worcester have broken the £2 per litre mark for the first time – as the cost of the fuel crisis continues to grow.
Several petrol filling stations around the city have raised their prices for diesel above £2, according to petrolprices.com.
Esso, Nunnery Way, and BP, Bromwich Road, are both reportedly selling diesel at 201.9p per litre, while Tolladine Service Station and Park Elbury Service Station, both on Tolladine Road, are reporting prices of 203.9p per litre.

The rising prices come as fuel stations struggle to keep prices down while still making enough money to keep the lights on.
Clerkenleap Service’s owner Phil Marsh told the Worcester News earlier this week that his station makes only 50p for every £20 of fuel purchased.
The wholesale price of diesel for petrol filling stations rose to £1.91 per litre on Monday (September 21), up eight pence from the previous week.
