Two brothers have made it into the record books after completing a two-man relay while raising over £21,000 for veterans.
Alfie and Joe Pritchard from Worcester ran non-stop from John O’Groats to Land’s End in a continuous two-man relay, completing the journey in a record-breaking seven days and 11 hours.
The brothers, who founded activewear brand Mile Pie, took on the gruelling challenge to raise money for Help for Heroes, raising £21,747.87 in the process.
Alfie Pritchard said: “This challenge was the perfect fit for Help for Heroes.
“The Royal Army Physical Training Corps holds the 12-man relay record, so it felt right to follow in those footsteps.
“More importantly, it gave us a platform to rally people across the UK to stand up and support our veterans and their families.”

Their journey took them the full length of Great Britain, running around the clock through extreme conditions, including temperatures above 30°C.
They relied on cold towels, constant hydration and the support of their dedicated crew to keep moving.
Thousands of supporters tracked their progress online, and messages of encouragement poured in from friends, family and even strangers.
The pair were quick to credit their support team for making the challenge possible.
They said: “There are only two names attached to the record, but this was a genuine team effort.
“Our crew sacrificed sleep, travelled hundreds of miles and worked around the clock to keep us fuelled, hydrated, safe and moving forward.
“We couldn’t have done it without them.”
The challenge, named Brothers in Arms, was about more than setting a record.
It was a tribute to veterans and those currently serving, and a demonstration of what can be achieved through resilience and community spirit.
The Pritchard brothers said the support from Worcester and beyond inspired them throughout the toughest moments.
The finish line may have marked the end of their journey, but fundraising continues. Donations are still coming in, each one helping Help for Heroes in its work supporting veterans and their loved ones.
