A partnership bringing together Worcestershire County Council and local bus operators has hopped aboard as a presenting partner for a public event.
Connect Worcestershire has joined Peter Rabbit in the warrens of Worcester, helping St Richard’s Hospice bring 75 Peter Rabbit sculptures – large and small – to city streets and public spaces in summer 2027.
The six-mile long art trail, ‘Peter Rabbit in the warrens of Worcester’, aims to promote public transport while encouraging people to explore the city.
The travel partnership’s support is expected to make travelling in the county easier and more appealing.
Councillor Tom Wells, cabinet member with responsibility for transport at Worcestershire County Council, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting St Richard’s Hospice as a key partner in Peter Rabbit in the warrens of Worcester.
“The trail is a fantastic opportunity to bring communities together, encourage people to explore the county, and make lasting memories.
“Making journeys easier is at the heart of what we do, so it’s wonderful to be part of an event that will encourage residents and visitors to see more of the local area.
“We can’t wait to see all the Peter Rabbits™ bringing joy – and a little bit of mischief – to Worcestershire.”
Peter Rabbit in the warrens of Worcester builds on the success of three previous hospice-run trails in 2018, 2021, and 2024, which collectively raised £1.2 million for local hospice care.

The event is supported by presenting partners including Chapel & Friary Walk, DRPG, Connect Worcestershire, Worcester BID, and Worcestershire Ambassadors.
