THE High Street brand Marks & Spencer has revealed how shoppers can bag a free treat from its Worcestershire stores.
Shoppers in Worcestershire with November birthdays are being urged to act now if they want to claim a free birthday treat after many missed out on the freebie in September.

M&S currently have stores on Worcester High Street, Blackpole Retail Park, a Simply Foods petrol station in Droitwich, a store on Mill Street in Kidderminster and a designer outlet in Tewkesbury.
The retailer is offering eligible Sparks members a free birthday reward, with treats ranging from cookies and Percy Pigs to chocolate truffles, roses and even crémant.

However, anyone hoping to receive the freebie in November must add their date of birth to their Sparks account by September 27.

M&S said around 60 per cent of eligible Sparks members born in September missed out on their birthday reward because they had not saved their date of birth in their profile.
The free treat is automatically added to eligible Sparks accounts at the start of a member’s birthday month and can then be collected from an M&S Foodhall.
The scheme is available to new and existing Sparks members, and customers can add their birthday through the M&S app or online.
Research commissioned by M&S found many people are looking for ways to cut the cost of birthday celebrations, with some combining family parties, using loyalty rewards or sharing the cost of gifts with friends.

Sharry Cramond, marketing and loyalty director at M&S, said: “We are so proud to give away close to one million birthday treats to our Sparks members every month. It’s one of our favourite ways to say thank you to our customers.
“Even if everyone else forgets your birthday, M&S won’t. It only takes 10 seconds to add your birthday to your Sparks profile and it’s the easiest birthday present you’ll ever receive.”
Customers with November birthdays who do not register their date of birth by September 27 will miss the deadline to receive their birthday reward.
