Family-run electrical business backs Peter Rabbit sculpture trail

A family-run business is helping bring a touch of magic to the streets of Worcester.

Worcester-based TDB Electrical Services is sponsoring one of 75 Peter Rabbit sculptures as part of the upcoming public art trail, Peter Rabbit in the Warrens of Worcester.

The trail will run from July 12 to September 5, 2027.

Tom Bates, director of TDB Electrical Services, said: “We’re very much a family business serving Worcestershire, so we’re delighted to be a part of an event which means so much to so many across the county.

“I’ll be out enjoying the trail next summer with my young family to show our support for St Richard’s Hospice, who do amazing work for local families.

“Taking part as a trail sponsor is our way of giving back.”

Of the 75 sculptures featured in the trail, 30 large models will be auctioned off to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice.

Sara Matthews, business development manager for St Richard’s Hospice, said: “It’s so fantastic to welcome TDB Electrical as a brand-new sponsor this year, helping to power smiles along our six-mile trail.

“These events simply wouldn’t be possible without the partners and sponsors who enable us to deliver a fun, free event all summer long before auctioning the sculptures to raise funds towards our care of patients and families.

“Thank you to all the kind local organisations who are hopping along with us next summer.”

The trail is supported by presenting partners Chapel & Friary Walk, Connect Worcestershire, Worcester BID, and Worcestershire Ambassadors.

Media partners include the Worcester News and BBC Hereford & Worcester.

The project also has backing from The World of Peter Rabbit, managed by Penguin Ventures, the licensing and consumer products division of Penguin Random House Children’s UK.
