Well-known musical theatre star is coming to Worcester

A musical theatre star is coming to Worcester this month.

Carrie Hope Fletcher will take to the stage at Worcester Cathedral on Friday, October 23, as part of her Ghost Light tour.

The show will run from 7.30pm to 10pm and promises an evening of music and storytelling in a unique setting.

Ms Fletcher, known for her roles in Heathers, Cinderella and Calamity Jane, will perform a selection of songs from her career alongside new material.

The tour will see her perform in cathedrals across the UK.

An event spokesperson said: “Carrie Hope Fletcher (Heathers, Cinderella, Calamity Jane), one of the UK’s most beloved musical theatre stars, is set to light up cathedrals across the UK in her breathtaking new Ghost Light concert tour.

“This autumn, audiences are invited to experience Carrie as never before.

“With her unmistakable voice and spellbinding storytelling, she will illuminate each sacred space.

“From intimate, heartfelt moments to soaring, show-stopping numbers, this is a rare chance to witness one of the West End’s brightest stars in an atmosphere of pure magic.”

The concert will explore the history and hidden stories of iconic UK stages.
