UK fashion brand used by Princess Kate to return after closing all stores and website

A major fashion brand, used by the Princess of Wales, is making a return to the UK after closing all its stores and shutting down its website earlier this year.

LK Bennett, founded in the 1990s and known for its luxury womenswear, fell into administration back in January.

The brand and related intellectual property were sold to US firm Gordon Brothers, which also owns Laura Ashley and Poundland.

However, LK Bennett’s nine stand-alone and 13 concession stores were not included in the deal, forcing them to close in April, along with the company’s website.
