Beers from around the world on offer at pub during 12-day festival

A 12-day beer festival will serve up a global selection of cask ales.

Taking place at The Old Swanne Inne, a Wetherspoon pub on High Street in Evesham, the event will run from October 7 to 18 and feature a range of cask ales, including brews from as far afield as China, Singapore, Ukraine, the USA, and Denmark.

It marks the first time the pub has served a cask ale from Singapore and Ukraine.

Robert Dudley, pub manager, said: “The festival is a great celebration of cask ale.

“It will allow us to showcase a selection of superb beers, featuring many not previously available to our customers in the pub, including those from brewers as far afield as China and Ukraine, as well as those closer to home, over a 12-day period.

“All of the beers will be available at great value-for-money prices.”

Most of the ales have been brewed exclusively for the festival, with five vegan options included.
