A TOILET lid has been ripped off at a set of public toilets as vandals strike once more.
Public toilets on Church Walk in Pershore have been hit by rampant vandalism, and it’s not the first time.
Only last year, a set of public toilets in Evesham were the victim of an arson attack, with Wychavon District Council ultimately left to pick up the bill.
Pictures from inside the facility show a toilet lid ripped off the toilet, a loo roll dumped into the toilet, and heavy damage to a soap dispenser.
As a result of the damage, Wychavon District Council has urged the public to report any vandalism or anti-social behaviour to West Mercia Police via 101.
A Wychavon District Council spokesperson said: “Once again, our public toilets at Church Walk, Pershore have been vandalised. And once again, the cost of clearing up the mess and repairing the damage will fall on the wider community.
“But let’s also be clear about something else. If we have the evidence, we will pursue those responsible.
“Following the arson attack at the public toilets in Evesham in April 2025, those involved were identified, charged, and prosecuted. Vandalism is not consequence-free, and we will not hesitate to take the same approach again.
“These toilets are not just another council asset. Residents, families, visitors, and people who depend on public facilities when they are out and about use them every day.
“A handful of individuals continue to damage facilities that thousands of people use responsibly. Frankly, our communities deserve better.
“If you witness vandalism or anti-social behaviour, please report it to the police via 101 or online.”
