Multi-way lights are set to be in place on a main road between Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
According to the Worcestershire County Council website, there will be traffic lights in place on the A451 Stourbridge Road just before the junction with Beechtree Lane from Thursday (September 17).
There is a valid permit in place until Friday (September 18).
The traffic lights are needed to facilitate utility repair and maintenance work by Openreach.
Delays are likely whilst the work is being completed and drivers are advised to plan ahead of any journeys.
The footway is expected to remain open throughout the duration of the work.
