Worcester will host a mini-conference to explore ways of making the city more accessible for all.
The event, Accessible Worcester 2026, will take place at the Guildhall on Thursday, October 8, from 9.30am to 1pm.
Hosted by Worcester City Council, the conference aims to build on the success of last year’s inaugural event.
Councillor Katie Collier, vice-chair of the council’s communities committee, said: “This event provides an important opportunity to bring people together to discuss how we can continue improving accessibility across our city.
“By listening to the experiences of residents, community organisations and businesses, we can identify practical ways to remove barriers and ensure Worcester is a place where everyone feels welcome, included and able to participate fully in community life.”
Support groups and charities are invited to host stalls in the Lower Hall, with discussions taking place in the Court Room.
Ms Collier said: “The conference will also be a chance to learn about the excellent work already taking place across Worcester to improve accessibility, share ideas and experiences, and take part in constructive discussions about how we can build on that progress.
“I look forward to another successful event and the positive conversations, partnerships and opportunities it will inspire.”

Groups or organisations interested in hosting a table or stall should email the same address before Thursday, October 1.
