Forensic team seen entering home as police on scene for hours

A FORENSIC team has been seen entering a home on Wyld’s Lane as police guard the scene.

The steps up to the house, opposite the junction with Dent Close, has been cordoned off with police tape.

Residents have said officers have been on the scene, at least as early as 6.15am on Wednesday, September 2.

Police and ambulance seen the night before

A member of staff at Handi Kitchen, an Indian takeaway on Wyld’s Lane, said they had also seen police cars and an ambulance at around 9pm on Tuesday, September 1.

“We have no idea what has happened,” they said. “Suddenly I saw police and ambulance but I didn’t see anything else.”

A passer-by, who asked to remain anonymous, told the Worcester News: “I went to work this morning and noticed police there.

“That was at about 6.15am.

“There must have been something going on.”

A man working at Wyld’s Lane News said he had also seen officers outside the home since early on Wednesday but did not know what had happened.
