A MAN is set to appear in court accused of theft and assault at a city pub.
John Smith, 41, of Wych Road, Droitwich, has been charged with assault by beating, theft, common assault, and two counts of failing to comply with a community protection notice.

He has been granted conditional bail, to appear at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 15.
“A Droitwich man has been charged with several offences relating to incidents including a theft from a pub and an assault in Worcester,” a West Mercia Police spokesperson said.
