One of the county’s most successful business support programmes is set to continue helping companies grow, create jobs and strengthen leadership.
The Elevate Growth Programme, designed by Worcestershire County Council and delivered by Rockfine Group, has been extended until June 30, 2027.
The scheme offers small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) consultancy, peer-to-peer learning and strategic guidance.
Since its launch in 2020, the programme has supported 243 businesses, created 71 new jobs, and currently has 40 more businesses participating in its latest cohort.
Councillor Adam Kent, deputy leader and cabinet member with responsibility for finance, corporate services and business at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Businesses across Worcestershire continue to face significant challenges.
“Rising costs, economic uncertainty and pressure on margins mean many business owners are having to work harder than ever just to stand still.
“That’s exactly why programmes like Elevate are so important.”
He said the programme had already helped businesses become stronger and more resilient during difficult periods.
Mr Kent said: “This isn’t just about helping businesses grow in the good times – it’s about giving them the tools, confidence and expert support to navigate difficult times and come out stronger.
“Worcestershire has an incredibly diverse and entrepreneurial business community, and we are determined to back that ambition.”
The Elevate Growth Programme supports businesses in developing tailored growth strategies, improving leadership, and setting long-term foundations for success.
It brings together cohorts of business owners to share experiences, challenges, and solutions, while also offering one-to-one consultancy.
The programme is open to established SMEs across Worcestershire.
With funding now extended until June 2027, businesses are encouraged to register their interest as places are expected to fill quickly.
