A BUSINESSWOMAN has been named Hospitality Business Leader of the Year 2026 for the West Midlands.
Rebecca Maybanks, founder of Worcester Breaks, received the award at the Influential Business Women Awards 2026.
Ms Maybanks said: “I’m thrilled to share that I have been named Hospitality Business Leader of the Year 2026 for the West Midlands.
“It means more than I can put into words to have that work recognised.”

Worcester Breaks is an independent short-stay accommodation provider based in Worcester, offering self-catering stays for both business and leisure travellers.
The business currently operates two properties: The Mews in St John’s and Chapel Court in the city centre.
Founded just three years ago, the company has quickly built a reputation for delivering comfortable, convenient stays with a personal touch.

Ms Maybanks said: “My motto is ‘turn up with the clothes on your back, and we take care of the rest.’
“Quite simply, hospitality isn’t just about having a nice property.
“It’s about thinking through every part of a guest’s stay, before they’ve even arrived.
“I read every review, and I use that feedback to keep improving the little details that make a stay feel effortless.”
She also expressed gratitude to those who have supported her along the way.
