A residential home has held its annual summer fete, bringing the community together for an afternoon of fun.
Residents, families, and community members gathered at Willow Bank Residential Home in Pershore for the event.
The fete drew a fantastic number of visitors eager to learn more about life at Willow Bank.
The home and gardens were filled with music and laughter throughout the afternoon.
Ray kept the party lively with a live disco, while popular performer Sunjay entertained the crowds with live singing in the garden, and soon had people up on their feet.
Guests also enjoyed a variety of food and refreshments, including burgers and chips, cakes, cookies, and ice creams, alongside stalls, a tombola, and a raffle.
The event was a team effort, with staff members from across Willow Bank pitching in.
Activities team members Jackie and Kate helped organise the day, while deputy manager Alison was on hand throughout, stepping in wherever needed.
Paul Chambers, Alexia Morgan, and the home’s hairstylist Wendy Hall also volunteered their time to help run stalls and the tombola and manage donations.
Carole, home manager at Willow Bank Residential Home, said: “What a brilliant afternoon.
“Seeing the home and garden full of residents, families, friends, and people from our local community was just lovely.
“There was such a happy atmosphere, with people singing, dancing, and laughing together all afternoon – which is exactly what we wanted.
“We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came along, donated, volunteered or helped behind the scenes.
“Raising around £360 for our Residents’ Amenities Fund was the icing on the cake, and that money will go straight back into creating more enjoyable experiences for our residents.
“Willow Bank is very much part of the Pershore community, so being able to open our doors and bring everyone together like this means a great deal to us.”
