Worcester City Council is proposing to change fares for hackney carriages.
The changes include new tariffs for Monday to Saturday, nights, Sundays, and holidays, and extra charges for additional passengers and vehicle cleaning.
Tariff one, covering Monday to Saturday from 7am to midnight, will cost £5.60 for the first mile and £2 for each additional mile.
Tariff two, for nights, Sundays, Bank Holidays, and specific holidays, will cost £7.10 for the first mile and £2.80 for each additional mile.

Extra charges will apply for more than three passengers at 50p each.
Vehicle cleaning due to passenger-caused mess will incur a £75 fee.
The council is running a consultation, lasting from August 5 to August 19.
Objections must be submitted in writing to the Licensing and Support Services Manager by August 19.
If no objections are received, the new fares will take effect on August 20.
