A brand-new coffee shop has officially opened in Stourport.
Costa Coffee said it is “thrilled” to have opened its new shop at the former HSBC building at 37 High Street today (Friday, August 7).
The popular coffee chain said it hopes the new shop will provide a “warm and welcoming” space for the local community.
A spokesperson for Costa Coffee said: “We’re thrilled to have opened our new Costa Coffee store on Stourport High Street today.
“Designed to provide a warm and welcoming space for the local community, the new store offers the perfect place to catch up with friends, take a moment to recharge or enjoy a favourite handcrafted drink.
“Our talented team of baristas are looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors.”
Despite the excitement surrounding the opening, the national coffee chain had previously remained tight-lipped on when the new store would officially open.
This came after signs were spotted on the former bank building, with one that read “opening soon – we can’t wait to catch up.”
The new store will create 10 jobs.
