Worcestershire County Council is resurfacing more than 140 routes across the county throughout 2026.
The council’s surface dressing programme began in April and covers roads across Worcester, Malvern Hills, Wychavon, Wyre Forest, Bromsgrove, and Redditch.
The council has published the locations included in the programme but has not specified which roads have already been completed.
A council spokesperson said: “Surface dressing is a preventative maintenance treatment that involves spraying roads with bitumen, followed by stone chippings that are rolled in to seal the surface.
“It’s a quick and cost-effective method that can extend the life of a road by up to 10 years, while improving skid resistance and helping prevent potholes.

“It’s a proven and efficient way to restore road surfaces and minimise long-term damage.”
The council said warning signs would be displayed ahead of works and noted that the programme could be altered by weather conditions.
