POLICE revealed they are still investigating the death of a “kind and vibrant” motorcyclist one year on from a fatal crash.
Emma James, 53, of Bromyard, died in the collision on the A449 near Colwall at around 9.30pm in June 2025.
A 19-year-old man was arrested at the time on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

In an update, a spokesperson for West Mercia Police said the cause of Ms James’ death is “still under investigation.”
The 53-year-old, who was a notable horse rider and a regular at the Steal Horse Bike Nights, was known as an animal lover who developed a passion for motorbikes later in life.
Police appeal
Police are still appealing for witnesses to the crash at around 9.30pm near Chances Pitch and Colwall on the Herefordshire and Worcestershire border, which involved three vehicles.

Ms James, who was riding a black Kawasaki motorbike, died at the scene. She was travelling towards Ledbury at the time of the collision.
The two other vehicles involved were a Silver VW Golf and a black Skoda, which were both travelling in the direction of Malvern.
