A fundraising wine-tasting evening has raised more than £2,000 for their charitable causes.
Organised by Wooden Spoon Worcestershire and held at Bottles Wine Bar in Worcester, the event featured a blind tasting of American and English wines and drew more than 40 guests.
Vince Hopkins, chairman of Wooden Spoon Worcestershire, said: “I’m very grateful to Hannah at Bottles for hosting this event and for the services of their wine expert, Joe.
“There were some great wines, plenty of laughter and, most importantly, another brilliant evening raising funds for an incredible cause.”
The event was sponsored by Sinclair Day Accountancy, who Mr Hopkins described as “wonderful” and long-standing supporters of the charity.
He said: “We were delighted to welcome 40+ guests on the night, and together we raised over £2,000 to help Wooden Spoon continue the life-changing work it does with children and young people all here in Worcestershire.”
