How police officer saved dog that brought M5 motorway to a standstill

A loose dog on the motorway brought traffic to a standstill in both directions – until a police officer rescued the animal.

Officers were called to the M5 near junction six (Worcester) at 7.35am, and lanes were temporarily closed between there and junction five (Droitwich) while people tried to rescue the dog.
