A 13‑year‑old boy has been left frightened to go outside after what his father described as an “unprovoked attack” in Worcester.
Issac Jacobs was chatting with friends on Tolladine Road on Sunday morning (June 21) when a man approached and punched him twice before running off towards Shrub Hill railway station, according to his father, Darren.
Mr Jacobs said he happened to be driving past at the time and saw his son crying. He described Issac as having suffered a black eye and a cut near his eye.
He added that the man appeared to be in his 30s, though police have not confirmed any suspect description.
“It was an unprovoked attack,” Mr Jacobs said. “He’s shaken up and frightened to go outside after this.”
