LEGENDARY WWII aircraft are set to fly over Worcestershire this weekend – here’s where and when you can see them.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) will soar over Evesham on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, as part of Wartime in the Vale, a large military show held at Ashdown Camp.

The event annually attracts more than 10,000 people over the course of the weekend.

The RAF has not confirmed which aircraft from the fleet will be taking part in the flypast.

Amy Jelfs, organiser of Wartime in the Vale, said: “The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be flying over on both days.

“It’s really special because we are one of the only places that actually get current serving military vehicles.”

Billed as one of the largest military re-enactment events in the country, Wartime in the Vale will feature more than 500 military vehicles, living history displays, and entertainment for the whole family.

The BBMF fleet includes an Avro Lancaster bomber, six Supermarine Spitfires, two Hawker Hurricanes, a Douglas C‑47 Dakota, and two de Havilland Chipmunks.
