FIREFIGHTERS have urged the public to stay safe this weekend ahead of hot weather.
Temperatures in Worcester are set to reach 30 degrees in the coming days, and firefighters have advised the public to keep safe during the hot weather.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Yellow Heat Alert until June 23.
“Safety reminder as hot weather brings more call-outs for water incidents, incidents from disposable BBQs and out-of-control bonfires and in some instances wildfires/field fires.
“Help us protect our community and stay safe while enjoying the lovely weather over the next week.”
