A pub is preparing for a busy weekend as it gears up for Father’s Day and the return of the Evesham National Morris Weekend.
Several sides will be dancing in the courtyard of the Fleece Inn at Bretforton on Saturday, June 20, followed by an evening music session.
On Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21, Charles Marshall will perform live music from 2pm to 4pm.
The pub has also launched its new summer menu, featuring seasonal dishes, lighter lunches, and fresh salads.
Beyond Bretforton, the Moongazing Hare Bars team will be at Wartime in the Vale this weekend and preparing for the Adventure Bike Rider Festival next week.
The Fleece Inn’s sister pub, The Cardinal’s Hat in Worcester, has started serving pizzas on Fridays and The Fleece Inn will continue serving pizzas every Friday and Saturday.
Earlier this week, the Fleece’s landlord Nigel Smith was in London for the BII Licensee of the Year finals.
The prestigious and rigorous award for individual licensee operators in the UK celebrates excellence, innovation, and community impact in the pub sector.
The Fleece Inn was among the final six and has also been named as a finalist in the Great British Pub Awards’ Best Country Pub category.
