A former Emmerdale star and Strictly Come Dancing winner has been in Worcestershire for a major event.

The pair were there to showcase their journey into farming, having bought a 120-acre farm in the Peak District in 2021.

BBC TV series ‘Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure’ documented their lives as first-generation farmers and aired in 2022, later followed by ITV series ‘Fletchers’ Family Farm’.

Originally from Oldham, Fletcher rose to fame as a soap actor, initially in Coronation Street in 1996, before joining the cast of Emmerdale to play the role of Andy Hopwood.

He remained in the role for 20 years, starring in thousands of episodes, before being written out in 2016.

In 2019, the actor starred as a competitor in Strictly Come Dancing, going on to win the series with partner Oti Mabuse.

The 42-year-old and his wife led a Future of Farming session at the Three Counties Show on Saturday morning (June 13), followed by a food demonstration in the afternoon.
