A NEW private GP clinic has opened in the city centre offering same-day appointments.
JesPearl (JP) Private GP, based at 28 Foregate Street in Worcester, began seeing patients in March and is led by Dr Loretta Shoderu, an experienced GP with nearly 20 years of medical experience and a background in frontline general practice.
Founder and owner Dr Shoderu said: “For many people across Worcestershire securing a timely NHS GP appointment has become increasingly challenging.

Dr Shoderu says the practice is built around the belief that good healthcare starts with listening, continuity of care and trust, ensuring patients feel supported and understood throughout their care.
JP Private GP offers same-day private appointments, including face-to-face consultations, telephone appointments and home visits.
The clinic provides a wide range of services covering minor illnesses, children’s health, mental health support, heart health and tailored care for women and men.
Preventative health screenings and diagnostic services, such as blood tests and MRI scans, are also available, supporting early intervention and proactive health management.
Dr Shoderu says the practice takes time during appointments to explore symptoms, medical history and individual circumstances.

Dr Shoderu trained at the Royal Free Hospital in London and Southend University Hospital before moving to the West Midlands to complete her GP training.

Dr Shoderu also has experience in urgent care and A&E.
She holds a diploma in cardiology and has a special interest in heart health.
