Man pleads guilty to multiple offences committed while on bail

A man has admitted to committing multiple robberies and thefts he committed while already on bail.

Ben Parkinson, 37, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery and one count of theft from shop at a plea hearing at Worcester Crown Court on Thursday (May 28).

The first robbery occurred on the November 11, 2025, and was a theft of consumable goods from Jacob Kalaiselvan, while the second saw alcohol worth £15 taken from Matthew Ballett on April 27.

On the same day as the second robbery, Parkinson stole items worth £40 from a Co-op on Ambleside Drive, Worcester.

Parkinson had previously been remanded on bail.

However, because he is likely to reoffend or abscond, and had committed these offences while already on bail, he has been remanded in custody until his sentencing which has been set for July 2.
