Worcestershire charity to mark 10th anniversary with fundraising ball

A charity is set to celebrate 10 years of supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer.

The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, based in Upton Snodsbury, Worcestershire, is marking the major milestone with a black-tie fundraising ball at the Bank House Hotel Spa & Golf Club in Bransford.

The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust 10th Anniversary Charity Ball will take place on June 20 and will bring together supporters, volunteers, fundraisers, and families for an evening of ‘elegance, entertainment and fundraising’.

Kirsty Murray, income generation manager at the trust, said: “This 10-year milestone means so much to us.

“The ball is not only a great opportunity to acknowledge all that we have done over the last decade but a chance to bring together supporters old and new for an incredible evening that will help us continue our vital work.”

The trust was founded in 2016 in memory of four-year-old Grace Elizabeth Kelly.

It works to improve the lives of children facing cancer and their families, while fulfilling Grace’s wish of helping others.

It also helps fund research into childhood cancers that currently receive little government investment.

Sponsored by Tad Electronics, the ball plays a vital role in raising much-needed funds to support the trust’s work.

Guests can look forward to a night of ‘exceptional dining, lively company’ alongside top class entertainment from local favourites Millennial Bangers, and a chance to hear from inspirational speakers.

They will also have the chance to take part in an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime auction.

Standout prizes include prime Club Wembley tickets to Harry Styles’ highly anticipated Together, Together Tour, and a rare Oasis Definitely Maybe album display alongside hand signed signature cards from both Liam and Noel Gallagher.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased through the charity’s website at www.gkcct.org/10th-anniversary-ball/.
