University of Worcester invites graduates to explore teaching careers

The University of Worcester is inviting degree holders to explore teaching careers at a postgraduate open evening.

The event, on Wednesday, June 3, from 6pm to 8pm, will offer attendees the chance to speak with academic staff about teacher training routes.

Dr. Rachael Paige, head of the Institute of Education, said: “In reality, there are so many transferable skills.

“If you enjoy learning, working with young people, and making a difference, teaching could absolutely be an option for you.”

The university’s teacher training programmes are rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. The event is part of a wider postgraduate open evening.
