National Trust property to bring Shakespeare plays to life with outdoor theatre show

NATIONAL Trust visitors will be able to enjoy Shakespeare under the stars with two live outdoor performances in the gardens of one of its sites.

Betrayal, ambition and bruising wit will be brought into the grounds of Croome Court this summer with two outdoor theatre performances of Macbeth and Othello.

Audiences are invited to bring a blanket, settle in and enjoy classic drama performed as it was meant to be seen: open‑air and alive.

Othello – a tale about jealousy performed by The Lord Chamberlain’s Men – will be staged on June 13 at 7pm.

Handlebards will bring Macbeth to life in parklands on August 26 at 7pm.
