TEN puppies who were orphaned just hours after being born have spent their final day together as a group before rehoming.
The 10 Vizsla puppies, called Cedar, Clover, Duck, Fig, Goose, Hank, Junie, May, Purdey, and Twiglet, were taken in by Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue Shelter after their mother died shortly after giving birth on March 3.
Almost two months later, the puppies are about to meet their forever families, but enjoyed one last play date together.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue said: “And just like that, we have had our final puppy play date before our beautiful little pups start to head off to their new families over the coming days.
“So many emotions felt by our wonderful foster families.

“Having hand reared these precious little pups from just after birth, it has been the most incredible and rewarding experience; a privilege to watch them thrive and grow into the most wonderful little characters who now have such exciting lives ahead of them.
“I think we speak for all our foster families when we say that these little pups are loved beyond belief, they will forever hold a special place in all our hearts”
Within a few hours of announcing they were searching for families to adopt the puppies, Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue received over 140 requests and were unable to stop accepting any more applications.
