Two cars ‘smashed up’ after late-night crash

TWO cars were left “smashed up” after a late-night crash in Warndon

Debris from the two vehicles could be seen scattered across the road after the crash, which took place near Domino’s Pizza on Ambleside Drive on Monday night (April 27).

An eyewitness said: “It appears to have missed every building at the time and it was just two heavily smashed up cars with one driver very shaken up.”

He also reported seeing one person being led away by police, with their hands behind their back.

“One was cuffed or had his arms pinned behind his back being led away,” the eyewitness said.

Police confirmed they attended the scene but said there had been no arrests.

“Police attended a two-vehicle collision on Ambleside Drive in Worcester around 11.05pm yesterday,” a West Mercia Police spokesperson said.

“No arrests or serious injuries to report.”
