Storm Dave has arrived in Britain and Worcestershire has already begun to feel the impact.
So far, events including Pershore Broad Street Market have been forced to cancel over health and safety concerns regarding the wind.
Currently, no weather warnings for wind are in place for Worcestershire or the surrounding counties.
However, parts of Worcestershire are forecast to receive wind gusts as strong as 50 miles per hour, while strong winds are expected to affect the county into the early hours of Sunday (April 5).
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Storm Dave will bring strong winds this evening with some heavy and blustery spells of rain at times.
“The storm will clear in the early hours and winds will ease. Minimum temperature 4 °C.”
